Rotary Club of Richmond Hill Appeals to Community to Support Fundraising Sale of Mums

ROTARY CLUB OF RICHMOND HILL APPEALS TO COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT FUNDRAISING SALE OF MUMS   TO HELP LOCAL FAMILIES
RICHMOND HILL, GA – September 2, 2022 – The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill is appealing to the community to support its fundraising appeal which is aiming to raise $1,500 to support students and families in Richmond Hill.  By registering to purchase colorful garden mums at $15 each, essential funds will be raised to help nonprofit organization, Family Promise which assists homeless families in Bryan County. The local Rotary club is also hoping to raise funds to support students in our county schools.
To support these community initiatives, contact Rotarian President Elect, Doris Purser at dpurser@georgialivingseniorcare.com to place an order, with an option to bring payment to Station Exchange Senior Care at 3205 Tsx Grand Central in Richmond Hill.   Mums have to be ordered and paid for by Thursday September 29, and they will be delivered to the Richmond Hill City Center for collection on Friday October 7,2022.
“This is the second year that we have undertaken this mums fundraiser and as the need in our community is greater than ever before, we have extended the campaign to appeal to everyone in our community to reach our goal,” said Rotary Club president Rebecca Schmidt “If every household that can fit this into their budget chooses to order their fall mums through our club in Richmond Hill, we could extend our support of those who need it most in Bryan County.”
Rotarians contribute their time, energy and passion to sustainable, long-term projects in local communities across the globe. Rotary Club of Richmond Hill gives back to our community throughout the year with initiatives like the Senior Citizens Programs, educational sponsorships such as the J.D. Gardner Scholarship, good causes like the Presidents Fund which help our local schools. They also focus on international Rotary initiatives such as Alzheimer’s Research and Polio eradication.
