2026 Young Leaders of Bryan County Application

Young Leaders of Bryan County is a flagship initiative of the Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, aimed at identifying and cultivating future leaders. This program seeks to expose young leaders to both the opportunities and challenges within our community, while promoting the development of essential leadership skills. Through a series of sessions, high school participants will gain insight into the various offerings of Bryan County. 

Objectives of Young Leaders of Bryan County (YLBC):

  • Identify exemplary high school Juniors, and Seniors who have demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to their community through volunteer service and civic engagement
  • Select participants who represent the diverse geographic areas of Bryan County
  • Encourage increased involvement in community activities
  • Facilitate guidance for the future pathways of young leaders in Bryan County

2026 Program Dates:

January 16, 2026 - Team Building & Leadership Training

February 6, 2026 - Military Day 

March 13, 2026 - Industry Day 

April 17, 2026 - History Day & Graduation (immediately following)

I understand that if I am accepted into the 2026 YLBC program, I will be required to attend the mandatory 4 class sessions and graduation. Attendance is mandatory to graduate. PLEASE INITIAL

  •  By submitting this application, a participant is committing to participate (if chosen) in the YLBC. PLEASE INITIAL


  •  Once selected to the YLBC program it is the responsibility of the student to make necessary arrangements in order to attend each class session - students are expected to attend the entirety of all sessions. Sessions are scheduled during school hours. PLEASE INITIAL

  • The Bryan County Chamber will pair a business to sponsor each Young Leader participant's tuition payment of $650. If you have a business that would like to sponsor your tuition, please email tsandt@bryancountychamber.org. PLEASE INITIAL
