Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a Commercial Loan Assistant and Universal Banker. This dual-role position combines the responsibilities of assisting with commercial loans and providing universal banking services. The ideal candidate will be adept at supporting loan operations while also ensuring excellent customer service as a backup to the primary Universal Banker team.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of commercial loan documentation.
• Support loan officers in coordinating loan closings and managing customer relationships.
• Conduct financial analysis and gather necessary information for loan applications.
• Serve as a Universal Banker by handling a wide range of banking transactions and customer inquiries.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Act as a backup to primary staff, stepping in to fulfill their duties when needed.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in banking or in a financial services environment.
• High School diploma or GED; Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent degree from a two year college. Bachelor’s degree OR the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of loan processing and banking operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
